FTT-DAO, May 2022 – November 2022

  • Spearheaded business development efforts across the African region, establishing strategic partnerships to promote FTTDAO’s products and services.
  • Conducted extensive market research to identify key trends and potential growth opportunities within the African market.
  • Represented FTTDAO at blockchain events and conferences, bolstering brand recognition and cultivating relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Orchestrated and managed business negotiations with partners, achieving mutually beneficial agreements. 

Achievements:

  • With a team of just 7 volunteers, I gradually grew the team to 15, then I was given a new role as the Business Development Manager for the DAO in Africa. 
  • Our mission was to create an educational ecosystem that was led by a community project, with a vision to inspire crypto education through the community and giving back. 
  • With just 7 volunteers from 1 country Nigeria, I was able to grow the team to over 70 representatives from 10 other African countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo, Burkina Faso, Benin, Sierra Leone, Kenya, etc) 
  • From zero crypto educational events, we held over 27 online webinars with seasoned guest speakers educating our community on how to take advantage of the blockchain industry. 
  • From zero awareness, we held 8 onsite meetups in 4 different African countries with over 5000+ in attendance 
  •  I represented FTT DAO in local events, media, and was in communication with external stakeholders.
